Now, congressmorons decided to treat disaster recovery funds as pay-as-you-go revenue:


One new funding source would come from an increase in the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund tax, a levy paid by oil companies and worth nearly $12 billion in new federal funding over the next 10 years.


Which guarantees that when the disaster comes we'll have no money to deal with it. Fucking brilliant!
