haku: autumn clouds research
Sep. 4th, 2003 07:53 pmIn order to figure out the difference between the autumn clouds and everything else I did some research and found paper titled "SYSTEMATIC INVESTIGATIONS OF CLIMATICALLY IMPORTANT CLOUD SYSTEMS", which says:
Satellite-based remote sensing of summer cloud properties is very difficult. Perhaps the biggest unknown, however, is autumn clouds. No Arctic cloud measurements have been made in autumn. On the other hand, spring is when the most interesting cloud/chemistry interactions take place, and the wintertime stable ice crystal clouds have been very poorly observed up to now.
Remarkably useless piece of information.
