Date: 2005-01-09 02:38 am (UTC)There's nothing to be ashamed about. The industry is just fine, the problem is that Microsoft is a T-Rex, no, a pack of T-Rexes, that dominates the food chain in the PC space. Now they are moving into media and communications.
If you know where you are going the transition should be relatively easy. In any case, just learn Chinese ASAP get your MBA and you'll be ok ;)
