But unlike the bulk of relationship manuals, The Game is not theory based. The methods discussed are empirically proven "thousands" of times over. Strauss explains that when a PUA ( Pick-up artist) posts on a seduction community message board about a new line that's worked for him, PUAs around the world go out and try for themselves, then report back to the board whether or not the line performed. Every contingency has been accounted for. Nothing in the book hasn't worked.
