3. Can't write the book and write haiku at the same time. I wonder what blocks what.
4. Competition in internet search seems to be immune to traditional commoditization, i.e. you don't compete on price, because the underlying resource is free. That is, somebody else creates content. Better than TV, because there you have to pay for content. Need to think a bit more about it.
5. Discovered Panyushkin at www.gazeta.ru . Funny and vicious.
6. Cooperation as a means to acquire control points, e.g. Ukraine+Russia=CP2+CP3=CP1
upd: mysterious business: gazprom sells for $230, ukraine buys for $95. wtf?

upd2: looks like enron-2 to me, i.e. a third party (RosUkr subsidiary) eats up the losses to inflate its parent's profits. pre-IPO cheating.
